1 ALso I in the first year of Darius the Mede, [ So here we begin with the Medes as the kingdom of Babylon has fallen as Daniel said that it would back in Chapter 7 verse 4. So we are at the time period described in verse 5 of chapter 7. ] even I, stood to confirm and to strengthen him.

2 And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; [ Iran. Daniel was taken captive when Babylon destroyed Jerusalem. Babylon was then conquered by Persia. ] and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: [ Xerxes would bring about the fall of the empire in part because of the hatred instilled upon the Greeks. ] and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia. [ Xerxes will use his great wealth to incite the kingdom of Persia against Macedonia in what would be known as the second persian invasion. A war in which Persia does not win but because of the great amount of death and destruction caused by this war the hatred will continue going forward. ]

3 And a mighty king shall stand up, [ Who was the young son of King Phillip (who lost his life fighting against the Persian Army). His sons name was Alexander The Great age 20. He was a cunning military strategist, and would decemate the Persian Army under his leadership. Alexander is the only general in recorded history to never loose a battle. ] that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will. [ At age 30 Alexander had built the greatest empire that the world had seen to that point. ]

4 And when he [ Alexander The Great. ] shall stand up, [ While he is still strong. ] his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; [ At his death his kingdom was divided amongst his 4 generals. ] and not to his posterity, [ Suggesting that he will die. Alexander did die at only 32 years old. ] nor according to his dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those.

5 ¶ And the king of the south shall be strong, [ Or the southern most ruler of the four kingdoms that were previously divided at Alexanders death. Or the General that took the south most kingdom ruled by Pultime I. Cleopatra who was a descendant of Ptolemy one of the 4 generals under Alexander the Great. He was given the Egypt and Palestine. ] and one of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion.

6 And in the end of years they shall join themselves together; [ Later on the fractured kingdom of Alexander would be brought together and they would become the Roman Empire. ] for the king’s daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement: [ Julius Ceasar who had risen to power and was changing the power structure of Rome. He became a dictator and under him Rome began to expand. After a period there was sibling rivalry, One of Cleopatra's brother took over the kingdom and forced her to flee to Syria. So she needed someone powerful ti help her defend her kingdom so she joined up with Julius Ceasar - the king of the north. Julius Ceasar fell in love with her beauty and helped her take back over her kingdom defeating her brother. Julius Ceasar and Cleopatra had a child together, Caesarion or Little Caesar. Julius Ceasar, was not able to enjoy his time with Cleopatra for long. Trouble was brewing in Rome, This required his presence. That trouble would ultimately claim his life, as he was murdered by his peers upon his return to Rome. Having lost a powerful ally in Caesar, Cleopatra's run was once again in jeopardy. Meanwhile, the power of the Roman Empire fell upon two men, Mark Anthony a close friend of Julius Ceasar, and Octavian. In a play to secure her kingdom, Cleopatra sought a audience with Mark Antony. Like Caesar before him, Mark Antony fell for Cleopatra's legendary beauty and vowed to support her kingdom. He abandoned his own wife and children and moved to Egypt to be with Cleopatra. He too had children with Cleopatra. Out of jealousy and fear that Mark Antony was planning on relocating the Roman capital to Egypt, Octavian and the Roman Senate stripped Mark Antony of his titles and declared him an enemy of the state. A war against him quickly ensued. He lost that war, and having received a false report that Cleopatra had died, he took his own life. The news of Mark Antony's death broke Cleopatra's heart, and she joined him in death by committing suicide herself. Thus, all of her plans werr for not, she lost both her love and her kingdom, just as Daniel suggested. ] but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, [ Cleopatra will loose the kingdom again after the death of Julius Ceasar. ] and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times. [ Mark Antony will step in to provide strength until he commits suicide, and then she follows. ]

7 But out of a branch of her [ Cleopatra. ] roots shall one stand up in his estate, [ The king of the North - Rome. ] , which shall come with an army, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail:

8  And shall also carry captives into Egypt their gods, [ Egypt was part of the Roman empire until 270 AD. ] with their princes, and with their precious vessels of silver and of gold; and he shall continue more years than the king of the north. [ As time passed there were growing differences the eastern half of the Roman Empire and the western half. A woman who claimed to be a descendent of Cleopatra named Septima Zenobia who was a roman citizen used the divide in the kingdom to wrestle the Eastern part away. She did this with the help of her son Vaballathus who raised up an army and took on Rome. Their empire became known as the Palmyrene Empire. ]

9  So the king of the south [ Vaballathus. ] shall come into his kingdom, and shall return into his own land. [ Egypt. ]

10 But his [ The king of the north - the Roman empire. ] sons shall be stirred up, [ The Roman was not happy that they had succumb to defeat, especially at the hands of a woman (Zenobia). ] and shall assemble a multitude of great forces: and one shall certainly come, and overflow, and pass through: then shall he return, and be stirred up, even to his fortress. [ After three short years the romans retook the Eastern part of the empire back. However there was great damage done to the prestige of the Roman Empire. Those in the east had developed their own sense of identity apart from the Romans. Zenobia had given them a sense of identity, one that would carry forward. It did not take long and Rome split into 2 kingdoms the Western Kingdom continued under the name of Rome and became headquarters for the Roman Catholic Church and remained such for another 150 years. The Eastern kingdom became known as the Byzantine Empire and started to push into Europe. The Byzantine Empire would continue to fight against the southern Islamic nations and would do so by calling on the help of the Christian nations - thus the Crusades were formed. It would eventually fall to the Ottoman Empire in 1453. At its height, the Islamic Ottoman Empire encompassed the following lands: Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria, Egypt, Hungary, Macedonia, Romania, Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, portions of Arabia, and large swaths of the North African Coast. The capital city of the Byzantine Empire, Constantinople, named in honor of the famous Christian Roman Emperor, was renamed to Istanbul. Thus the city of Constantine, became the city of Islam, the new capital city of the Islamic Empire. ]

11 And the king of the south shall be moved with choler, and shall come forth and fight with him, even with the king of the north: and he shall set forth a great multitude; but the multitude shall be given into his hand.

12 And when he hath taken away the multitude, his heart shall be lifted up; and he shall cast down many ten thousands: but he shall not be strengthened by it.

13 For the king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former, and shall certainly come after certain years with a great army and with much riches. [ This passage speaks of the dawn of the Modern Age, and the height of European Colonialism. This period began with Spain, Portugal, and England's colonization of America, but it soon spread the world over. Napoleon conquered Egypt. Britain conquered and colonized the Holy Land, India, and elsewhere. Other European countries followed suit in Africa. soon the Ottoman Empire had gone the way of the Byzantine. By the early 1900s, all that remained of the Ottoman Caliphate was Islam, and even that had splintered into many bitterly divided sects. The American industrial revolution was a success, and so Europe followed suite. As such the balance of power shifted to the North once again. The North will now be in need of the fossil fuels and energy found in the south and that will be the cause of many wars that will follow. The kiing of the North has now becomes Western civilization with America being the leader and acting to them as a threat to them. ]

14 And in those times there shall many stand up against the king of the south: [ The middle East. ] also the robbers of thy people [ Dragons of Arabia - those organizations that represent the rise up of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria - aka ISIS. ] shall exalt themselves to establish the vision; [ The vision that they would like to return to their days of dominance, the days of the Ottoman Empire. Why are ISIS considered robbers?? Because they raided the museums and business, they took from the people whatever they needed in order to establish themselves and their cause. And what is that vision? That the US is really satan and that ISIS would help that vision along which would mean that in their view that Jesus would come and aid in taking down the anti-Christ (the US), and bringing about the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ and they were just helpping that along. ] but they [ ISIS who's stated purpose is to bring about the end of the world and to usher in the second coming of Jesus Christ. Why? Because they believe that Jesus Christ will be the one who will bring down the Great - anti-christ (who in their eyes is America). The prophecies ISIS draws on do not originate from the Quran, but from various hadith, or traditions, attributed to the Prophet Muhammad but varying in their reliability. They state that when the second coming of Jesus appears, he would fight against the "Daiial " also known as the Antichrist. The Dajal would be easy to spot, according to the narrations, since he would be known by the donkey he would ride. Various traditions say the donkey would eat fire and breathe smoke, and ride over land, sea and air so fast that "a month's journey would become a day's." The donkey would also have one foot in the East and the other in the West, and would jump from nation to nation. Other traditions describe the donkey as possessing compartments in its belly, into which passengers could climb, and journey with it. According to ISIS, all this is literal. Jesus himself will return and slay the Dajal and his donkey, after which Jesus would establish the caliphate. Confused yet? Hasn't ISIS already established the caliphate? So where is Jesus? Indeed, ISIS grew tired of waiting for its warrior-messiah and the antichrist's remarkable donkey, and established the caliphate itself, in a bid to hasten Jesus' return. ] shall fall. [ Why? Because of the bombing the hell of of them as declared by Donald Trump. ISIS was defeated Dec 19, 2018. ]

15  So the king of the north shall come, [ Aka the Assyrian, the Stout Horn, and Wormwood. Western civilisation with America as the unrivaled leader. The most threatening part is the industrialized military complex which came about at the end of world war II. While this ability was once a noble cause designed to keep its people and other nations free, it evolved to a organization (the deep state) that made money when one country was against another country, or the need to be involved in a war of some kind from that time forward. This is how the Islam nations view us, and they are not all wrong. 9/11 opened the expansion of those deep state operations, from that time forward the deep state has taken more and more liberties away each year in the name of anti-terriorist protection. ] and cast up a mount, [ Lay siege. ] and take the most fenced cities: and the arms of the south [ The Islamic nations. These people despise America as they see it as a treat to take away their way of life. The deep state has used 9/11 to destroy Iraq, take down Saddam Housen, Alkida, ISIS, taking on the Taliban, and the conflicts in Afganistan. ] shall not withstand, neither his chosen people, [ Meaning alliances such as those that Iran has with Syria, China and Russia. So the most plausible idea to me is that either Iran will detonate a nuclear device on American soil, they could cause a cyber diaster and cause all the cars of the freeways to crash, markets to collapse, whatever or it maybe it will be a false flag and Iran at least get blamed for doing so. I would assume at some type of gathering of congress or something where they take many out of the government. This will allow the three eagle heads to take over. They will unleash a war on Iran such that the world has never seen. This will be a diabolical way to have their cake and eat it too. This stout horn will been seen as bringing power back to America which the American people will applaud (they will be hot with anger righteous indignation) because he is righting the wrongs that America feels was done against her (the bombing in America by Iran), essentially the deep state would be killing two birds with one stone. Taking over American leadership, becoming excepted by the people in a time of crisis, and then showing the courage to take whomever on that they say did it. Even if it was all just deep state activities which will act as a diversion for what is happening internally in America government. ] neither shall there be any strength to withstand. [ This will happen with such great force and vengeance as they go against the full force of the United State military - they will be utterly destroyed. ]

16 But he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, [ The whole world will back off suggesting that if Iran did do this to America then they deserve what they get. As a result they just stand back and let it happen. ] and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the glorious land, [ Synonymous with "promised Land" - America. Both Israel and America are Glorious Lands. ] which by his hand shall be consumed. [ The land where he will rule from, consuming the entire structure of government. ]

17  He [ The King of the North. ] shall also set his face to enter with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; [ The good men and women of the Armed forces who are taken unwittingly to battle by wicked men. Those who appear to be good but are in a battle that they think is righteous, but maybe is not. Maybe the US military in a war that we are brought into that is not what we think or right. Most likely against someone in the middle east. ] thus shall he do: and he [ One of the eagle heads. ] shall give him [ This mysterious newcomer - the anti-Christ the Stout horn. ] the daughter of women, [ So they are not given woman which would be giving them whores, no he is giving them the daughters of women, underage girls for the same purpose. However; since they are underage they can be used as pawns if the act was recorded lets say, now you have leverage, since it is pedophilia. Example Jeffery Epstein, how much power did he wield with what he had on people. So this person trys to use this to get power over the anti-Christ but it does not work and the anti-Christ takes him out. ] corrupting her: but she shall not stand on his side, [ This man does not use women to gain leverage over men, but rather their daughters. This sounds like Jeffery Epstein's manipulative program. Such activity seems to have a strong correlation with the Deep State and its demand for absolute loyalty. Furthermore, Daniel states that when this mysterious newcomer corrupts the daughters of women he repulses the girls. They want nothing to do with him ever again. There no amount of money on earth that will change their minds. This suggests that apart from a total lack of morality on the newcomer's part, there is something repulsive about this mystery man, a physical attribute. Who is this mystery man? He is the Stout Horn spoken of in Daniel's previous visions. The King of the North did this to gain leverage over the Stout Horn, in the same manner the a his organization had done with many other men before him. However, the three heads of the eagle will soon find out that the Stout Horn is not at all like other men. This action on their part will prove to be their downfall. This is not something that the Stout Horn will forget. It will not be long before he plucks up all three of these heinous men up by their roots and usurps the governance of their kingdom for himself. ] neither be for him.

18  After this [ The King of the North's alliance with the stout horn. ] shall he turn his face unto the isles, [ North Korea, Cuba, south China Sea. ] and shall take many: but a prince for his own behalf [ A member of the fellowship, one of the ten horns. ] shall cause the reproach offered by him [ The first Eagle head. ] to cease; without his own reproach he shall cause it [ The kingdom. ] to turn upon him. [ "without his own reproach he shall cause it to turn upon him." The second eagle head causes the government to turn to himself. See 2 Esdras 12 :26-28. ]

19 Then he shall turn his face toward the fort of his own land: [ America. ] but he shall stumble and fall, and not be found.

20 Then shall stand up in his estate [ The estate of the second eagle head. ] a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: [ The rebuilding of America. ] but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle. [ The last of the three eagle heads dies very shortly thereafter. The stout horn steps in quickly and does what needs to be done. He most likely knows that the whore of Babylon will be wondering how all of the people that they put into power where taken out so quickly. So quickly that they did not even see it coming. ]

21 And in his estate [ The estate of the third eagle head. ] shall stand up a vile person, [ The Stout Horn. ] to whom they [ The Whore of Babylon, those who made the secret combinations in the first place to get gain. ] shall not give the honour of the kingdom: [ The whore of Babylon has worked so hard to put these three eagle heads in power and now they are destroyed and this stout horn, will not give them any respect. This will cause some to come to like even worship this stout horn since he is the one who appears to be destroying Babylon. ] but he [ Wormwood/the Stout Horn. ] shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries. [ He will take out the whore of Babylon, which will ingratiate him in the eyes of the people. With that advantage now in hand he will become even more embolden, to the point that he will speak out blasphemies against God. He will beat them at their own game. He will make himself look good by doing things such as exposing the Deep State. He will do so in order to destroy the deep state as they are his competition, but he will gain trust in other for doing so. He has observed and seen the power that the whore of Babylon has and so he also understands how to bring her down, and does so. This will appear to the American people to be an act of benevolence, as such the stout horn/wormwood will be greatly accepted by them. But are they in for a surprise. Nephi suggests that when the stout horn takes down the secret combinations/whore of Babylon/ deep state this will be a sign that "the work of the Father shall commence, in preparing the way for the fulfilling of his covenants, which he has made to his people who are of the house of Israel." 1 Ne 14:17 (restoration of ten tribes). Since the Whore of Babylon is also know as the Great and Abominable church The stout horn will see that they still have some power centers left (religion) as a result he will put pressure on religion to destroy it. He now has a great opportunity to say hey look, look at all of the bad things that this church did and this church did and they have covered them up - religion is the source of too much deception is no need for religion, destroy it all. ]

22 And with the arms of a flood shall they [ The secret combinations. Remember the secret combinations include the whore of Babylon, the great and abominable church as we discussed in verse 21 are sources of a great many secret combinations. ] be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; [ Destroyed. ] yea, also the prince of the covenant. [ Who are the princes of the covenant? Is it not latter-day saints? So what does this suggest? To me it suggests that the outreach of the stout horn/wormwood will extend into out church. We will be targets, we will not be sparred in any way from his persecutions. The prince of the covenant would be the man who holds the keys to administer the covenants to the saints. The church for a brief moment will be like the church in Alma's day - we will be subject to the rule of wicked men. See Mosiah 23:21-24. ]

23 And after the league made with him [ Allowing the Stout Horn to rule over America. ] he shall work deceitfully: [ He knows how this group works with their secret combinations. So he is stealth about how he attacks them, to destroy them, because at this point he does not need them, they are in opposition to each other. I think this shows how much poer he really has. ] for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people. [ The group known as the ten horns. He will accomplidh his plan with this small group not relying on the hugh orgnization which is the whore of Babylon. ]

24 He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers [ This is not his genealogy but rather those of the secret combinations who have proceeded him. ] have not done, nor his fathers’ [ They (those of the secret combinations) never really fully achieved their ultimate goal. While they got close they were not able to achieve what he has come in and done in a very short period of time. ] fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices [ Devices is an interesting word here. Devices would suggest some sort of technology. ] against the strong holds, even for a time.

25 And he [ The Stout Horn. ] shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south [ Or now they are known as the Islamic nations. ] with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they [ The Stout Horn's forces. ] shall forecast devices [ Use some kind of advanced weaponry/technology. ] against him. [ The King of the south - the islamic nations. ]

26 Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him, [ The King of the south - the islamic nations. ] and his [ The Stout Horn. ] army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain. [ Many? How can there be so many? Well even though the Islamic nations have been divided in the past they will all come to recognize one thing. They will recognize that the Anti-Christ has come as such they will gather together to fight in the Jihad that they have long prepared for. However; it will not be a battle but a slaughter. ]

27 And both these kings’ [ The king of the south and the Stout Horn. ] hearts shall be to do mischief, [ They want whatever they want and are not really looking to change. ] and they shall speak lies at one table; [ The king of the south - the Islamic nations will do or say at this point anything to get the destruction of his people to stop. He will lie if he has to in order to give himself time, but it is just that a lie, he doesn't mean what he says. After all; the Islamic people would rather reap the rewards of dying in a Jihad than living out their lives in shame. So in essence they cannot come to any truce. ] but it shall not prosper: [ The truce does not last. ] for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.

28 Then shall he [ The Stout Horn. ] return into his land with great riches; [ After success in the middle east the Stout horn will return to America. ] and his heart [ His focus, his attention. ] shall be against the holy covenant; [ The church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints. You see they stand in direct opposition to him meeting his goals. They will not worship him, he has not brought them under his control and so he will seek to do so. The fact that they are still hanging around is an embarrassment to him. ] and he shall do exploits, [ He will work miracles to show that he is indeed in charge. One of those will be to sit in the House of th Lord, Gods own house, the temple, just to prove that he has the power to do so, that he is in charge. 2 Thes 2:2-4. Many faithful will wonder if God is God why would he allow such punishment and trials upon his faithful saints, 3 Ne 24:13-18. ] and return to his own land.

29 At the time appointed he shall return, [ The Stout Horn returns to America. ] and come toward the south; [ And he proceeds to finish off the souther kingdom - The Islamic states. In doing so he feels that he will put everything in order he will destroy all of the Islam's and because he does so with such force he will put the remaining Christian's in order - they will give up and worship him as the almighty one. ] but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter. [ However this time things will be different. For one thing all of Islam will have gathered for this great Jihad, and then the next verse shows us how the hand of God will change things as well. ]

30 ¶ For the ships of Chittim shall come against [ It would appear that these ships of Chittim seem to rebuff the anti-christ with the holy covenant some how. The ships of Chittim return and the plans of the anti-Christ are challenged/disrupted. Daniel does not tells us what these ships of Chittim, are, but we can see what they do. Ezekiel saw a similar vision as found in Ez 1:4; 16-18;5;10;19;14 ] him: [ The anti-Christ. ] therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant. [ First to foresake the covenant you have to first made it (temple ordinances). So the stout horn trys to figure out what is giving these people of the covenant their strength against him, and asks those who have made those covenants to teach him so that he can overcome them. It appears as if the anti-Christ is trying to get as much information as he can about the covenants from those who were once covenant makers and have rejected them. Are these usually the most wicked, those who had the light, but then chose darkness. ]

31 And arms shall stand on his part, [ The antichrist's "arms" here is not to be understood as weapons (devices and technology). Here it stands as the symbol of general physical power. "On his part" is represented by the preposition מִן, which means "with" or "from;" hence we find the Septuagint translating by παρά, and Theodotion by ἐξ. So the most natural translation is to take the preposition "by," that is, he shall set physical forces in motion. ] , and they shall pollute the sanctuary [ The Temple. When the Jews say temple they say Beit HaMikdash - "Beit" means house "HaMikdash" sanctuary. ] of strength, [ Maoz (maw-oze') - Fortress or stronghold. or He will rise up and desecrate the temple fortress. LDS temples(s). I purpose that it will at least be the Salt Lake Temple as it is such a symbol. ] , and shall take away [ For a period the Stout Horn will be in control it would appear. See Rev 13:6-7. ] the daily sacrifice, [ For the LDS faith that is weekly sacrament meetings and temple attendance. Anciently it would have been an unblemished lamb that would have been sacrificed each morning and night - for us today that has been replaced with the sacrament. With the recent changes in the church we are already prepared for such a period. We have been admonished to keep the sabbath day holy and may well serve as a sign to the Lord just as the Lambs blood did for ancient Israel. The Hebrew word here used means "continual," and the substantive "sacrifice". On December 13, 2018, the last day of Hanukkah, the Sanhedrin consecrated a portable 4½ ton altar which could be moved close to the Temple Mount, or to a new temple if called for. The following is the newsletter that got me excited: On December 10, 2018 [the letter says] on Monday morning, the last day of Hanukkah, a new altar, fit for the Temple, was dedicated outside the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem. What does Hanukkah have to do with the new altar and the daily sacrifices? Following the Maccabees’ defeat of the Seleucid Greeks in the historical events of Hannuka, the Maccabean Jews cleansed and restored the Temple after Jerusalem was liberated, and built a new altar, since pigs had been slaughtered on the old altar by the Greeks. —By Antiochus Epiphanes.This is the abomination of desolation found in Daniel 8 and 11. You'll find Antiochus Epiphanes to be a type or forerunner of the anti-Christ. On the last day of Hanukkah - which literally means “dedication” - a new altar built in accordance with all the Jewish laws pertaining to the Temple vessels and infrastructure was unveiled . . . . The altar itself weighs some four-and-a-half tons, and the ramp another two tons. The Jews involved in this had a practice sacrificial exercise, where the front legs of a sheep was burned on the altar. Although the Passover and daily sacrifices do not require a full temple, they must be done on an altar built according to the requirements of Jewish law, and placed at the appropriate spot on the Temple Mount, believed to be several meters east of the Islamic Dome of the Rock shrine. This new alter can be moved. It is portable. The question is, is this the altar that will really be used for the daily sacrifices and placed by Dome of the Rock? ] and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. [ The Hebrew has וְנָתְנוּ (venath'noo), "and they shall give or set." It seems to refer to an altar to Jupiter, which was erected on the brazen altar. ]

32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. [ Work miracles, perform nobly and heroic acts. ]

33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they [ The people. ] shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.

34 Now when they [ some of the people of great understanding. ] shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: [ Aided with divine assistance. ] but many [ Of the people. ] shall cleave to them [ The antichrist and his followers, because of. ] with flatteries.

35 And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.

36 And the king [ Who is this King? Wormwood/The Stout Horn. The antichrist. ] shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

38 But in his estate [ Privately the Stout Horn honors another God - Satan. ] shall he honour the God of forces: [ Maoz (maw-oze') place or means of safety, protection. The God of forces refers to the forces of science, or the manipulation of matter through compulsion. Remember that Satan does not have a veil over his eyes, I assume that he may have seen some of how the creation was done. As a result he knows how to bring things about through science, wormwood will come to see the power that Satan has here and will be intrigued to know as well which will become the catalyst for them to join forces. ] and a god whom his fathers knew not [ Why did this wormwood not know of this God who is actually Satan? Because wormwood is not from this world. Satan was banished to this world only and does not roam around on other planets that God created, but is left to this world only. So it is not until wormwood comes to this earth that he gets an idea of this god like entity we refer to as Satan. ] shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things. [ The things of this world. ]

39 Thus shall he do in the most strong holds [ Russia. ] with a strange god, [ This new God that Wormwood has come to discover - Satan. ] whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them [ The brotherhood of the ten horns. ] to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain. [ This is what the covenant is. This is what the peace deal that Trump is securing in Aug of 2020. It has not been signed yet but the deal is designed to give the various parties expressed land areas. Who gains in this deal and how? ]

40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south [ The Islamic nations that are left. ] push at him: [ The stout horn. The antichrist. ] and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. [ Again it will appear as if there is no stopping the antichrist. While he may have lost in America he appears now to be taking over the rest of the world. This will be the case until he gets the news that there are two prophets that are standing up to him and his forces. So with great rage he will stop his southern advances and proceed up to Jerusalem to personally fix the problem. HE will on this mission purge the Jews just as he did in America. This will end in the great battle called Armageddon , of which Ezekiel spoke. It will be there that the antichrist will mee thi end. ]

41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, [ The other glorious land - Israel. The stout horn has been defeated in America and is moving on to strengthen his position where he has a strong hold in Europe. From there he will strike at the land of Israel. And lead a charge from Europe down through Africa. ] and many countries shall be overthrown: [ All through the middle east down through Africa. ] but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.

42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.

43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

44 But tidings out of the east [ Jerusalem. ] and out of the north [ The remnant of Jacob. ] shall trouble him: [ The stout horn will only stop his destruction as he learns of the push back again from the house of Israel. ] therefore he [ The stout horn. ] shall go forth [ The stout horn will personally go there to lead the destruction. And this battle will last some 3.5 years. See Rev 11:1-7. ] with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.

45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; [ The temple mount in Jerusalem. ] yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.
