1 AND I looked, and, lo, a Lamb [ The Savior. See Chapters 5 & 6; D&C 77:11. ] stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, [ Remember that anciently thousands were the highest number spoken of. In addition; any number that si doubled is considered perfected. So symbolically to the ancients in the time of John 12 x 12 is 24, by 12 squared is 144 which would be like saying Holy, Holy, Holy. These are not the same as those 144,000 in Rev 7. This represents the body of the saints and their righteousness under and with their priesthood power. Joseph Smith further taught in a sermon on August 13th 1843 "Where it says and they shall seal the servants of God in their foreheads it means to seal the blessing on their heads meaning the everlasting covenant thereby making their calling & election sure". ] having his Father’s name written in [ It is note on but in suggesting that these are those who have adopted the characteristics of the Father in their lives such that they are submissive to the will of the Father in all things, just as the Savior is. Anciently to wear the plate of pure gold engraved with “Holiness to the Lord” on the forehead was a divinely bestowed honor of the greatest significance and belonged solely to the high priest. It identified the high priest with the Lord Himself. "These 144,000 are Gods, as the name on their foreheads specifies; their callings and elections have been made sure; they are exalted personages; they are 'redeemed from among men' (Rev 14:4-5)" (McConkie, A New Witness for the Articles of Faith, 640). ] their foreheads. [ The forehead may represent the frontal lobe of the brain, suggesting that they had studied and learned all of this sacred information and had it in the "forefront" of their minds. Possible conclusion: The book of revelation teaches that there is a mark put upon the righteous....in fact it's the only thing that saves them. "Being sealed in their forhead" this means they are in a covenant relationship with God and all alliegance is to him. All their thoughts and intentions ( forehead) are towards God and his kingdom. This sealing is not just entering into covenants but having the holy Spirit of promise ratify those ordinances. Conversely. It also teaches that there will be others who recieve the mark of the BEAST in their right hand and in their forheads Coinage was developed largely to give legitimacy to the government. It was a outward symbol and they convinced the people it gave them authority. In large part 90% of the coinage went to their army's and other government functions while the masses has to fight, cling and scrape to procure a small part for themselves to buy and sell. It was customary that they held their money in their right hand and it took most people to give all they had during the day ....all their thoughts and actions throughout the whole day just to aquire some coinage for themselves. Then the devil used other means to make it easier to get money....all they had to do was lie, cheat, steal, rob and even murder....to use their fellow man and turn people into a means to get wealth. Cain did this same thing. The Mark of the beast is not some outward sign. The right-hand symbolizes their deeds And the forehead symbolizes their thoughts and intents . Those individuals whose entire day is consumed with the acquisition of money which dominates all their thoughts and intents and deeds at the expense of the kingdom of God, have the mark of the beast. It's more a matter of loyalty of heart mind and action. This is why it is going to become hard to buy and sell in the latter days. The system is going to be created Where if you do not give all of your time and attention to the acquisition of wealth you'll be left behind and will not be able to "keep up" . Only those who are driven daily for money will be able to really prosper...and in that aqusition.....they are seduced by that whore of all the earth. Things will become so expensive that if we do not buy into giving all our time and attention to getting money we fall behind. ]

2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:

3  And they sung as it were a new song [ Is this the same song that Alma is speaking about in Alma 5:26? ] before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. [ The virtuous woman, who represents poise, harmony, beauty, and life-giving creation. Teachings from the Restoration identify her as the Church, whose issue is the political kingdom of God (Joseph Smith Translation, Revelation 12:2, 8), which “was to rule all nations with a rod of iron” (Revelation 12:5). ] These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. [ The period just before the Second Coming and shows that Zion has been established and the Lord is with His people there. ] These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, [ Wormwood will use its influence with the Deep State in America to gain power, and once wormwood has gained that power it then destroy the Deep State in order to rule on its own. As the Gospel comes forth in it’s fullness in the great day of Satan’s power, and with this restoration, the very foundations of Babylon, the Church of the Devil is shaken. The satanic onslaught must increase in intensity and wickedness. The culture and society must act, and believe, that God does not exist, and that the atoning sacrifice of His Son, is a myth, as scripture is not to be taken seriously. Satan knows that with the restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, his kingdom, the Church of the Devil, shall be destroyed, and great shall be the fall thereof. ] that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. [ The Deep State of the United States has used her influence over all of the nations of the earth. ]

9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, [ Again "in" not on. Since the forehead is the source of thought then I suppose that this would imply what a man chooses to believe, or in this case those who choose to believe satan, or anything but Christ. The forehead may represent the frontal lobe of the brain, suggesting what was "forefront" in their minds, to follow the beast. ] or in his hand, [ The earth was created with the hands of God. It usually denotes the details of the work - so here we have the hand representing the deeds, or works of the beast. ] [ Again "in" not on. Since the hands are what we do things with this suggests to me that this would be if a man's actions be one's that follow the beast. ]

10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, [ The angel commands John to write again, this time about the last great purge that will take place before the Saviors return in glory. This only happens after all of the sifting ins complete and the wheat has been gathered in, leaving only the tares out in the fields of the world. ] Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; [ So God being merciful he reaps as much as he can. A symbolic representation of the gathering of the righteous (compare D&C 86:1–6). ] for the harvest of the earth is ripe.

16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.

17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.

18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. [ We find similar commentary of this event in 2nd Esdras 16:23-36. Esdras gives a warning in verse 36 suggesting that "believe not the Gods of whom the Lord spoke" or in other words don't listen to the lies told by wormwood and satan, as they are not true. ]

19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. [ The timing of this last and great destruction is just prior to the Second coming of the Messiah. He is the one who is calling for the destruction, a cleansing so to speak. It will be complete when it is finished as not a single wicked person will exist when it is complete. Only when that gathering is done does another angel begin his work, the harvesting of the vineyards. The latter harvest represents the crushing power the wicked will experience as they are “cast . . . into the great wine press of the wrath of God” (Revelation 14:19). Note how the images blend together to show that God will secure His people before He unleashes the destroying angel. Further, Christ does not personally act as a destroyer. His role is that of Savior. Unfortunately, the only way He can save the earth is to have His angels “destroy them which destroy the earth” (Revelation 11:18). ]

20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, [ The depth of this bloodshed will be up to a horses bridle. ] by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs. [ A furlong is 660 feet, (660 x 1,600 = 1,056,000 feet; divided by 5280 - 200 miles. )so here we have blood extending a radius of some 200 miles in each direction (or about 125,000 square miles) so great is the destruction. Recall that before this event happens the remnant of Jacob will have already destroyed a third of all mankind, the burning mountain has fallen into the sea causing 1/3 of the ocean to be turned to blood. At this point the saints who understand the time should be at full attention as to what is going on. For additional detail we can refer to Isa 10 chapter heading. "Few people will be left after the Lord comes again". This cleansing is to prepare the way for the Lord to rule and reign with the righteous, those who repent and are willing to keep the commandments of God. The others will be destroyed. ]
