THE REVELATION
OF ST JOHN THE DIVINE
CHAPTER 18
The saints are called out of Babylon lest they partake of her sins—She falls and is lamented by her supporters.
AND after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.
And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, [ The people of the church of the Lamb are called out from the midst of Babylon. This is the purpose of the sign, to warn the people to get the heck out of Babylon. s early as 1831, the Lord issued the command to the Latter-day Saints to come out of Babylon. The restoration of the Gospel is proclaimed as the missionaries are sent forth into the world with the declaration to ‘come out of Babylon’ and gather together for spiritual and physical safety, as Babylon now is about to be destroyed. ] that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: [ In Greek it means pay back double or two fold. Where in Israels history does one tower come down? Isaiah 9:10. Israel says we don't care of the Lord brought the tower down we will rebuild it stone by stone. It is with this pride of Ephraim that the Lord gives them about a 24 year period to repent. So in the Latter-Day sign should be two towers being brought down. ] in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.
How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, [ Symbolic or literal - either way the whore will be destroyed by wormwood in a very short time. How can wormwood do this? Well he has the association with the ten horns, these men know the inner workings of the whore of Babylon. As a result they know where the bodies are buried so to speak, and as those things are brought forward things come down very quickly. ] death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, [ Why? Because it was the source of their strength, now it is gone. ] when they shall see the smoke of her burning, [ When they see that she (the whore/deep state in the america's) is going down. Smoke is what is left after the fire. They most likely felt that America was too big to fail, and those in the know were aware that america had people in every position compromised. The deep state was very organized and had grown so large that no one wanted to cross the line with her. ]
Standing afar off [ The whore is destroyed in America, and the rest of the whore kind of keep their distance so that they are not destroyed in the destruction that wormwood is causing in America. In other words they want to continue to enjoy what they have and don't want to loose it. ] for the fear of her torment, [ So it would appear that wormwood doesn't go after the whore in the rest of the world, most likely to use his fellowship and association with them to give him support as he brings the whore down in America. ] saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. [ Again it all happened so quickly once Wormwood took over. ]
And the merchants of the earth [ The rest of the world outside of the America's. ] shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: [ No only do we not buy their merchandise but we no long give them billions of dollars under the table in shady deals to enhance their lifestyles, and pad corrupt American politicians and companies. ]
The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, [ Purple is known as a ‘royal' color because it was the hardest dye to extract. It came from sea snails, so only royalty could afford it. ] and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,
And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.
And the fruits that thy soul lusted after [ An expression of greed. ] are departed from thee, [ They are all gone. That which the whore sought after is no longer available to her. ] and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.
The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,
And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!
For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, [ The countries on the other side of the sea want to maintain their autotomy in the sense that they do not want to get swallowed up in what wormwood is doing in America so they just stand back and watch. ]
And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!
And they cast dust on their heads, [ An expression of morning. These other kings don't know yet what is going to happen to them. Will they be next they might wonder? ] and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.
Rejoice over her, thou heaven, [ The common man in America rejoices that this deep state and its corruption has been exposed. They are now in hopes that everything will get better. But wormwood did not do this for the people he did it for his own gain. While he may be wicked and God is using him here to further destroy the wicked. ] and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her. [ So even though wormwood is not sent from God he is doing God's will. Nephi saw what would happen here in 1 Ne 14:17. ]
And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;
And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries [ Interesting that "sorceries" in Greek is pharmacia. The secret combinations of the drugs and Pharmaceuticals so John specifically points this out. So John may specifically say that this is made possible by the deception put upon all the nations through the use of pharmacia now why would that matter ] were all nations [ In Hebrew this means Gentiles. ] deceived.
And in her [ A city. ] was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, [ What city is this talking about? Rome? ] and of all that were slain upon the earth.
